Monday, 16th September 2019
Today is my first day for teaching. Firstly, before I go to school, I went to the canteen for bought some food for breakfast. Then, I just focused on my material today that is The Cycle of the Sun and the Moon, it just reading time. At 10 am, I went to school with Nia. Before entered the classroom, I met with my critic teacher first for gave my lesson plan. At 11 am, I entered the class and my first teaching was quite nervous. Although it just reading time, but I should handle the students and observe them around the class. I should do that because some of them will not read the story. After finished the class, I directly go back home because I should prepared for my lesson plan tomorrow and also for my material. Before went to our hotel room, I stopped at the canteen for bought some meal for lunch.
Tuesday, 17th September 2019
This day is very nice day. We have General Assembly at 8 am with all of education students with heir parents. Actually, I really worried about my second teaching, because the material is quite hard but I just enjoyed myself and thought that everything will be nice. In general assembly, we introduced by Mr. Ramir in front of people. It very happy day for us, except Gilang because he should came to the school at 8 am. Almost 2 hours we are there, and the meeting is still run. Not only us, but also Mr. Ramir introduce all of education teachers in UC. There are elementary education teachers, secondary education teachers, and physical education teachers. There, we also know the rules of UC and etc. Very lucky us!
Then, at 10.30 all of us decided to go back early because we have to go to school for teach. So, I hurry up to go to school by Taxi and just alone because Nia didn’t join. After arrived at school, I directly went to teacher’s room and met Ma’am Amara. I just gave my lesson plan to her, then lend the projector from the library. At 11 am, I taught 7-Mabait and the material is about “common purposes of writing”. This day I am not felt nervous anymore, but my students a little bit confused about the material that I taught. So, I explain to them until they are understand. After they understood, I gave them some tasks and let them did it directly. After class, I met with Ma’am Amara and she gave me some advice about my teaching.
Wednesday, 18th September 2019
My third day for teach is very nice, because I have known my students and they also feel enjoyed with me. This day, I should teach them the Filipino story about The Prowess of Aliguyon. I let them to read the story first and after that I will give them some question related to the story. So, they did what I said. After finished, I gave them tasks and let them answer it directly. I really like my students, because today they are not noisy and they really participate on my class. After finished, I told them to pass their paper to the front. Then, like usual Ma’am Amara met me for gave me advice. After that, I go back to UC main campus for prepared the material.
