Friday, 6th September 2019
Today is one of our important day, because we have to meet with the President of University of the Cordilleras, Mr. Ray Dean R. Salvosa at 10 am. We went to the office maybe 10:30 am, and met with Mr. Ramir first. After wait for a while, we entered the waiting room with our buddies. This day also very special for me, because this is my birthday. Suddenly, my friends from Indonesia sing a birthday song to me and makes our buddies sing a birthday song also but in Tagalog language. It’s make me feel sad, but a little bit happy because this is my first birthday in other country LOL.
At 11 am, Mr. Ramir said to us that the President is not in the campus. So, we have to wait and back again maybe in the afternoon. Then, all of us can take a rest while wait for the buddies to pick up for go to the President’s room. It’s around 2 pm, someone bell our room then suddenly my buddies, ate Tin and Jasmine gave me a surprised and also bring something to me. It’s make me wanna cry huhuhu. When I open the box, that is a birthday cake for me. They are very kind and sweet. Salamat po 🙂
It’s around 3 pm, someone bell our room again but it’s not surprise anymore hahaha. When I open the door, Ate Tin said to us that we have to meet the President right now. It’s make us in a hurry to prepared ourselves. After finished, we directly went to the President’s room and met with him. It was glad moment because we can meet with him, talk with him and also make a joke with him. He is very nice to us, and very welcoming us to stay here. After meeting, we have to take a picture together with the buddies and also Mr. Ramir.
After finished, we directly went to the hotel. Sukis, Irma, and I decided to go outside for bought some rice and eat it in the hotel. It just a few minutes, and we have to back to the hotel for take a rest. At 5:20 pm, all of Indonesian students talked together in our room and we ate the cake that gave from ate Tin and Jasmine. The taste is very delicious and all of us like that cake. After finished, we back to our room and do our own activities.
