1st to 2nd September 2019
My first time to go abroad was quite delight. Our university actually send 2 people from Sea-Teacher program, there are Irma and I. When I arrived in the airport, I saw my friends there and also coordinator teacher in my University. Its make me feel sad because we have to leave this city for a month. At 8:05 pm Irma and I take off from Syamsudin Noor Airport, Banjarmasin. Before that, I ask for permission to my parents and my sister. Not forget to say see you also to my friends. I landed at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Jakarta its around 8:55 pm. After arrived, we waited for our baggage and directly went to Terminal 2F. From arrival place going to Terminal 2F is sooooo long trip and make me feel a little bit tired, because Jakarta airport is so wide. Then, we also find our friend Derista from Bogor because we have the same flight and same destination. After that, we directly check in and go to immigration. Then, we wait the flight in the waiting room.
At 00:10 am on Monday, 2nd September 2019 we take off from Jakarta to Manila. It’s around 5 hours and 30 minutes. We landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila at 5:40 am. In there, we wait for our baggage again and directly go exit. I together with Irma and Derista was welcomed by our coordinator from University of the Cordilleras, Mr. Ramir and Mr. Gary. Mr Ramir is also the Dean of the Education Faculty and Mr. Gary is the lecturer in that University. We wait for a minutes while talked with them.
It’s around 7:15 am we went by bus from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2 for pick up the other exchange students from Semarang, they are Sukis and Nia. Then, we continue again to Terminal 1 for pick up Rika and Gilang, from Malang. I felt so happy, because I can saw the beautiful building in Manila. Next trip, we have to pick up Nurul from Ambon in the hotel because she has arrived in Manila on Sunday. After complete, we continue our trip to Baguio, but we stopped at Jollibee the popular fast food in Philippines. We ordered Kentucky chicken and spaghetti. The taste is very delicious, especially for the spaghetti!! After ate, we continue our trip again to Baguio its around 5 hours. In the road, I feel so different because its so beautiful city and also this city is very cold.
At 5:35 pm, we arrived in the University of the Cordilleras (UC). Mr. Ramir directly brought us to the UC Hotel. The room is very beautiful and unexpected.
Then, we have to prepared our stuffs and its around 15 minutes, Mr. Gary comes to our room and told us that we have to meet with Mr. Ramir and announced our schedule for tomorrow. At 6:44 pm, we went to bought SIM card accompanied with Jenica (Nick) and Jamaica. With the heavy rain, we went to Robinson to find somethings, like drink, slippers, umbrella, etc. After finished, we went to Jollibee again for dinner. Then, we go back to our hotel and talk with other students and our buddies. After finished, we have to take a bath, dinner, and sleep. It was so tired day for me, but I enjoy it!
